| What is a recall? A
recall is a determination by the Company that some
action is needed to correct a vehicle defect related to
safety, emissions, or other regulatory requirements. It
may require that you return your vehicle to the dealer
for service. If your vehicle is not affected, it may be
because it was built at a different time or using a
different part than the affected vehicle. |
|
| Be advised that this
system tracks national safety and emission recall
notifications on vehicles registered in the United
States at the time the recall was initiated for programs
that were launched on or after January 1, 1996. For more
information on Ford Motor Company recalls/vehicle
campaigns, regional recall programs, or concerns you may
be having with your vehicle, please contact Burd Ford
directly. |
|
| After determining whether your
vehicle has a recalled part, Burd Ford can either
schedule an appointment for service or provide you with
detailed part information. |
